Lo-fi acid rockers Thee American Revolution began as a home-recording collaboration between Elephant 6 co-founder Robert Schneider (Apples in stereo) and brother-in-law Craig Morris (Terrapin Pond/Ideal Free Distribution), formed to pursue a heavy psych-pop agenda.

The band’s debut album Buddha Electrostorm is built upon slabs of fuzz guitar and reckless troglodyte drumming. Soaked in Mellotron seas, bright harmonies, and bursts of noise, their songs range from druggy pop to sloppy biker-rock anthems.

Joined onstage by a rotating cast of friends and family, Thee American Revolution shred with chaotic exuberance.
